First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! And how to work in the Back Loops (BLO), tutorial here!
Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 5 + 8
❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈
Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook
Skip 1 CH, make 1 SC into the next CH
*Make 3 SC into the next CH
Make 1 SC into the next CH
Skip 2 CHs, make 1 SC into the next CH
Repeat the steps above from * until you only have 2 STs left
Skip 1 CH, make 1 SC into the last CH to complete this row
Row 2: Make 1 CH
Make 1 SC into the 1st ST
Skip 1 ST, make 1 SC into the BLO of the next ST
*Make 3 SC into the BLO of the next ST
Make 1 SC into the BLO of the next ST
Skip 2 STs, make 1 SC into the BLO of the next ST
Repeat the steps above from * until you only have 2 STs left
Skip 1 ST, make 1 SC into the last ST to complete
You would now Repeat Row 2 for however long you want your project
This is what the Dreamy Ripple Stitch should look like when completed!
